Regaining Your Energy After An Out of Control Day

On an average day, we face numerous frustrations, which can make us feel anxious and stressed. Stress affects people from all walks of life, parents, students and working adults. For some, stress can be difficult to manage and it can spiral out of control.

The practice of self-compassion offers you a healthy alternative to managing stress that comes with life’s challenges.

What is Self-Compassion?

Self-compassion is compassion turned inward. It teaches you to relate to yourself in a supportive manner when you face challenges and difficulties. In many ways, self-compassion can be described as the opposite of self criticism.

When we are self-compassionate we treat ourselves with the same kindness, care and understanding as we would a good friend or someone we cared for deeply.
